How and why to get your team to like a socialisation

WHY?

Social media used to be a game of the more you post the more your content is seen, the last network to behave like this was twitter, but now all the big social media sites are using an 'algorithmic timeline'.

Quite simply they want to keep people on their site, so to do this they only want to present relevant content to their users and a result they use an algorithm to filter out anything that might not be relevant to their audience.

So the 'Why' comes down to the fact that you should want your content (in this case a socially shared job) to appear to as many people as possible, and to achieve this we need engagement on the posts!

Where better to start than asking your own colleagues!

We have a saying regarding socialisations:

'If no one likes it, you might as well not posted it'

How do we do this?

We touched on this in the How to socialise your Job advert article but let's go over it again.

When socialising your jobs or testimonials you can leave the 'Invite other recruiters to like this post' ticked. This will then send an email to other recruiters in your Refari platform asking them to like the post (Facebook / LinkedIn ) or tweet (Twitter).

Let's have a look at an example.

Clicking on the word 'Socialisation' will take them straight to the LinkedIn post where they can like , comment and share (these differ depending on the social channel)

Now it's down to your colleagues to like and share!
