The Meet The Team Widget: Recruiter Tags

This article explains how to add Recruiter Tags to your profile and how to display them on your Meet The Team widget, so visitors can filter your team by speciality.

The Meet The Team widget is a great way of displaying your whole team alongside important information and contact details. Each team member can be clicked on to open their individual profile and the specific jobs they are working on. You can also let visitors filter the widget using Recruiter Tags, which are built from the specialities on each profile.

How to set up Recruiter Tags

Recruiter Tags are created from the Specialities field on a team member's profile. You can add them to your own profile, and if you are a Company Admin you can manage them across your whole team.

Idea: If you are a Company Admin you can log in and manage the profiles of every team member at once, rather than asking each person to add their own specialities. See How to edit your team members' profiles.

Step 1: Open your Account profile

Log into your account as normal at "refari.co". If you are not already on your profile, open it from the menu on the left hand side by clicking "Settings" and then "Account profile".

Step 2: Add your Specialities

The important section for Recruiter Tags is Specialities. These are the terms you will later be able to select from to use as Recruiter Tags.

When entering specialities, type one in and then press Enter or Return before typing the next one, like the example below.

Note: Do not enter your specialities as one long string. Each speciality must be added separately (press Enter after each) so it becomes its own tag. The example below shows what to avoid.

Step 3: Save your profile

Once you have entered the specialities, click Update and they will be saved to the profile.

How to select which tags you want to show

A profile may have many specialities added, but you may decide to show only a few of them on the widget. A Company Admin chooses which tags appear by opening Company Settings.

Scroll down to Recruiter Tags and click Select tag.

Clicking Select tag displays a full list of every speciality added by anyone on your team. Click the tags you want to display on your Meet The Team widget, then click out of the box (clicking the word "Recruiter" will do the trick) and save by clicking Update.

How tags appear on the widget

Once you have added Recruiter Tags to the profiles you want and selected them as tags to display, they appear on the Meet The Team widget. The All tag is shown by default.

Each tag can then be clicked, and only the team members with that tag on their profile will be displayed.

Note: Team members can have multiple tags on their profile, so the same person may appear under more than one tag depending on the specialities they added.

Final Notes

You do not have to display these tags on the widget. If you would prefer a separate page for each Recruiter Tag, you can set up multiple Meet The Team widgets on different pages, one per tag. When you create an internal job you will also see the Own jobs tag, which is covered in the Meet The Team "You" feature article.
