The White-Label Plan

This article explains what Refari's White-Label Plan is, what it removes and changes across your candidate experience, what it costs, and how to switch it on. White-labelling simply means removing Refari's branding so that everything your candidates and referrers see appears entirely as your own.

By default, every Refari account is co-branded. A small “Powered by Refari + your ATS” bar sits on your job board and website, and the automated emails your candidates receive carry a light “Powered by Refari” footer. Co-branding is included at no extra cost and keeps your base pricing down. If you would prefer a completely unbranded experience, the White-Label Plan removes all of it.

Your ATS is the applicant tracking system you have connected to Refari, for example JobAdder, Loxo or Recruit Wizard. The bar on your website and job board shows whichever system you use, so it reads “Powered by Refari + your ATS”. Your emails are sent by Refari, so their footer simply reads “Powered by Refari”, with no ATS named.

What the White-Label Plan includes

The plan is a single add-on that removes Refari branding from four places:

  • Emails branded as you. Your transactional emails (the automated emails Refari sends to candidates and referrers, such as confirmations and alerts) come from your own email address instead of the default no-reply@refari.co, so they look like they have come straight from your team.
  • The “Powered by” bar removed from your website. The “Powered by Refari + your ATS” bar is taken off your main website.
  • The “Powered by” bar removed from your job board. The same bar is removed from your job board and careers widgets (the embeddable job search, latest jobs and similar widgets).
  • The email footer credit hidden. The small “Powered by Refari” line in the footer of your candidate emails is switched off.

Put together, a candidate or referrer interacting with your job board, your website and your emails sees only your brand, with no visible reference to Refari. For example, here is how a candidate email looks before and after the “Powered by Refari” footer is removed:

What it costs

The White-Label Plan is a paid add-on at $50 AUD per month, billed alongside your usual subscription. It covers all four items above together, so there is no need to choose between them. Enterprise-level plans may already include white-labelling, so it is always worth checking with us first.

Idea: You can start out co-branded and move to the White-Label Plan whenever you like. Nothing about your job board, widgets or candidate data changes when you switch, only the Refari branding is removed.

How to turn it on

White-labelling is set up for you by our team, it is not a self-serve switch in your dashboard. To get started, just contact Refari support and let us know you would like the White-Label Plan. Here is what happens for each part:

Branding emails as you

So that your emails can be sent from your own domain, we add your domain to our email system and then send you a short DNS record (an SPF record) to add at your domain registrar. The exact steps differ slightly between registrars, so letting us know who hosts your domain ahead of time speeds things up. Once the record is in place, we set your preferred “from” address against your company record and your candidate emails start arriving from you.

Removing the “Powered by” bar

Our team removes the “Powered by Refari + your ATS” bar from your website and job board for you. This works whether your site was built by Refari or built and hosted by your own team, so there is nothing you need to install or change yourself.

Note: Removing the bar is handled by our team rather than a setting you toggle yourself. If you ever change or rebuild your website, let us know so we can make sure the bar stays removed on the new pages.

Hiding the email footer credit

We switch off the “Powered by Refari” line in your email footers at the same time, so it is one less thing for you to think about. It is all part of the same plan.

Final Notes

Co-branding is the default and works well for most teams, so there is no pressure to white-label. The plan is simply there for teams who want a fully branded, Refari-free experience for their candidates and referrers. If you are not sure whether your current plan already includes it, get in touch and we will confirm before anything is charged.
